Dan Schantz Greenhouse & Cut Flower Outlet
Dan Schantz was passionate about farming, family, and business. Beginning with his first farm at age 16, Dan built a successful agricultural operation that eventually included Pennsylvania’s largest greenhouse production. His dream of a first-class retail greenhouse complex came to life in 2002 with the opening of the Dan Schantz retail store on Lehigh Street.
Herr’s Fruit Farm
The Herr family has a rich agricultural history dating back to 1914 when Christian Willis Herr helped his son Robert start an orchard in Lancaster County. Over the years, the family farm expanded to become the second-largest orchard in Pennsylvania. Third and fourth generation owners, Willis, Martha, and Robert Herr II expanded our operations into seasonal flower tents and Christmas trees.
In 2024, the Herr family purchased Dan Schantz Greenhouse, bringing together the legacy of two families dedicated to providing quality farm and greenhouse products. Along with the Schantz traditions, we’ve added farm-fresh produce, pure local honey, and homemade jams and salsas, proudly continuing our commitment to the Lehigh Valley.
